I've been living in the Fraser Valley for almost forty years. I love hiking, spending time with my family, exploring new places and enjoying a good cup of coffee with friends. I've been married for thirty plus years and have three children, all of who live close, which is great because grandchildren are only a phone call away.
I officially retired four years ago, which was a real challenge for me. I have been self-employed for most of my career and was fortunate to have worked most of it in Chilliwack. I reached a point in my life where I felt I could say I found success. I shifted gears and began to invest time building significance into my life and the people around me. Transitioning is not as easy as the world makes you beleive..
In the background, photography was the stabilizing influence during my transition from a full-on working life to finding hours of free time in a day. Photography provided me with the excuse to get out and explore adventure and come home to share exciting stories about what and who I had encountered in my day. I wake up every day, ready to document new adventures. I've travelled worldwide and experienced new cultures, food, history and people, but I always love coming back to my home base.
The majority of my images are collected within an hour's drive from my home. They represent how diverse and beautiful the Fraser Valley is. I built this website to showcase my backyard and to help others grow in their photography journey.
